Meet “KUROMI” — Our Star Racing Pigeon!

KUROMI has had an outstanding performance across the 2024 races:
Race 1 – Pretty Pine (310 km): Placed 186th out of 1125 pigeons with a speed of 1518.58 m/min.
Race 2 – Booligal (450 km): Improved significantly to 64th out of 918 pigeons, flying at 1044.76 m/min.
Race 3 – Ivanhoe (550 km): KUROMI truly shone, taking 1st place out of 527 pigeons with a speed of 864.71 m/min.

HELLO IT'S ME

Race 1 – Wycheproof (300 km, 21 Aug 2023)
This was the warm-up challenge. Against nearly 1,000 birds, Hello it’s Me finished 575th, flying steadily at 233 m/min.
Race 2 – Bronzewing (430 km, 10 Sep 2023)
The second race showed real improvement. Out of 815 birds, Hello it’s Me soared into the Top 30, flying at over 1,122 m/min.
Race 3 – Meringur (575 km, 8 Oct 2023)
The ultimate test of endurance and speed. Out of 483 of the strongest pigeons, Hello it’s Me triumphed with 1st Place, flying 575 km at an incredible 1,125 m/min!
From 575th place in the first race to 1st in the finals, this is not just racing, it’s a comeback story!
2022
MR BLUE SKY
Meet Mr. Blue Sky, the champion of the Mt. Hope Finals! Flying an incredible 594 km and beating all competitors, he secured 1st place and $75,000 in prize money for Wirrecoo Racing & Lane Family.
Race 1 – Hay (400 km, 17 Aug 2022)
The journey started with a tough challenge. Out of hundreds of birds, Mr. Blue Sky placed 712th, flying 810 m/min.
Race 2 – Booligal (485 km, 28 Aug 2022)
A huge leap forward — climbing to 335th place with an impressive speed of 1876 m/min.
Race 3 – Mt. Hope (594 km, 11 Sep 2022)
The defining moment: from hundreds of competitors, Mr. Blue Sky delivered a flawless flight to 1st Place, at 1125 m/min, winning the grand prize.
In three races, Mr. Blue Sky went from the back of the pack to the very top, proving that champions are made in the finals.
2021
BLUE CAVIAR
Introducing Blue Caviar, one of the great champions of the Meadow One Loft Race 2021. Flying against 511 pigeons, this bird conquered the skies to win 1st place in the Main Race — earning an incredible $51,000 AUD.
Date & Distance: 14th September 2021, Meringur, 573 km.
Speed: Flew at 1,138.80 m/min, a winning pace across challenging conditions.
Field: Out of 511 competitors, only one could claim the top spot — Blue Caviar did exactly that.
Blue Caviar proved to be the best of over 500 elite pigeons, rising above fierce competition to claim victory.
